Environmental Health and Lung Research School
The Environmental Health and Lung Research School (EHLRS) is an international, interdisciplinary, and structured MD and Ph.D. training program, established at the Environmental Health Center (EHC) at Helmholtz Munich. The Research School provides an excellent and inspiring environment for translational research.
The Research School is designed to attract and promote outstanding and highly motivated MD, MD/Ph.D., and Ph.D. students from the basic and medical sciences to be trained by an internationally renowned faculty. Students benefit from comprehensive teaching curricula and close mentorship while performing cutting-edge research projects in translational medicine.
Graduates trained within the program have diverse career options in the expanding biomedical field, and will undoubtedly be able to advance our understanding of environmental and lung disease and develop novel therapies for improving the care and quality of life of patients suffering from environmental and lung disease.
