We were happily hosting an enthusiastic group of the next generation of lung researchers, clinicians, and data scientists at the Lung Science Training here in Munich, October 13–17.
This joint initiative, brought to life by the Environmental and Health Research School Munich and the DataLung School of the Deutsches Zentrum für Lungenforschung (DZL), offers a comprehensive overview of lung anatomy, physiology, and the diverse diseases that challenge respiratory health.
We are incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated teaching faculty whose expertise, enthusiasm for lung science, and commitment to education make these sessions truly engaging. This year, we’re excited to expand the program with distinguished speakers from all sites of the German Center for Lung Research, further enriching the curriculum. A huge thank you to everyone involved!
Beyond the learning, this program fosters invaluable networking opportunities - sparking new collaborations and even lifelong friendships.
