Each third-year doctoral candidate chose a topic that was related, but not identical with their Ph.D. project and wrote a grant proposal. These proposals were then reviewed by three peers each and by the Research School Faculty (Roxana Wasnick, Theodore Kapellos, Maja Funk, Markus Diefenbacher, Markus Rehberg, Aicha Jeridi, Malte Lücken). In an Elevator Pitch Meeting, the doctoral candidates presented their ideas.
The winners will be able to order 2000 Euros worth of consumables for their proposed projects, thanks to the DZL, which hereby is gratefully acknowledged.
Congratulations!
