Georgia Giotopoulou nominated for the William MacNee Award

Junior researcher Georgia Giotopoulou, PhD student at ILBD/CPC (Stathopoulos Lab) and GRK 2338 doctoral student has been nominated for the William MacNee Award at the ERS Lung Science Conference, March 2021

Within the frame of the ERS Lung Science Conference entitled "Repair and regeneration in chronic lung disease and lung cancer" Georgia has been nominated due to her outstanding abstract on "cAMP response element-binding protein mediates immune-evasion of KRAS mutant lung adenocarcinoma". She was one among other four presenters during the Young Investigator Session, all of them being 40 years of age or less at the time of the conference. We congratulate Georgia warmly for being one of the shortlisted researchers.
