Darcy E. Wagner, member of the Research Unit "Lung Repair and Regeneration" at the CPC/LRR and member of the Helmholtz Munich Postdoctoral Fellowship Program has been selected as a Science and Innovation Center (SIC) Rising Star of Research representing the Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology (RCMB) Assembly for this year's American Thoracic Society. The American Thoracic Society is one of the largest international societies dedicated to basic, clinical and translational pulmonary research and is comprised of over 15,000 members worldwide. Rising Stars are basic and translational science researchers at the assistant professor or early associate professor level making waves in their fields.
Dr. Wagner will give a presentation highlighting her work on Sunday, May 21 at an award ceremony at the American Thoracic Society's annual conference in Washington D.C.
